Delight in this interpretation of one of the world’s favourite musical shows, telling the story of Jacob’s favourite son, Joseph and his eleven brothers
Based on the original Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice collaboration, the performance recounts Joseph’s journey as he is sold into slavery by his brothers, discovers his ability to interpret dreams while in jail, resolves Egypt’s famine and is eventually reunited with his family.
Joseph’s story is told through song with the help of a narrator and ten-piece band. In this production, performers from LIPA Sixth Form take the lead roles and form the band whilst pupils from the Liverpool Cathedral’s Singing Programme form the infamous childrens’ chorus.
There is a performance on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May starting at 7.00pm
